Solution Overview

Automatic weather station is commonly used for the measurement of solar radiation, wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity, atmospheric temperature, atmospheric pressure, rainfall etc. The main components of the system are anemometer, pyranometer, wind vane, hygrometer, thermocouple and rain bucket along with datalogger to record parameters, LCD screen to display real time parameters, chassis and mounting structure. It finds applications in agriculture, forestry, highways, railways, solar or wind power generation, green house and breeding, meteorological science research.

Weather Station

Holmium technologies provide class-A, class-B and class-C Weather monitoring station to monitoring weather conditions.
For Solar Rooftop Plant, Holmium provide set of 3 sensors (pyranometer, ambient temperature sensor, and module back surface temperature) in two different ranges
Similarly, for Solar Ground Mounted Plant, 8 set of sensors (POA pyranometer, Horizontal pyranometer, module back surface temperature, ambient temperature, relative humidity, anemometer, wind vane and rain gauge) in all specification along with battery management system.

What are the outputs available?

As a standard 0-5V , 4-20ma, Modbus RTU are available and other required outputs such as 0-1V, 0-2V ,Modbus TCP can also be supplied using a converter.

Yes, there are various version of Holmium Data Logger,which can be configured to collect data from any Modbus RTU,Modbus TCP system (Inverter , Meters & Sensors etc).

Can you provide Performance Ratio & Solar Insolation values for Solar Power Plants ?

Yes, if you are Monitoring all Inverters & WMS at a site , we will provide half hourly values of Performance ratio and Daily values of Solar Insolation.

What are the different classes of pyranometers?

Not all pyranometers are of the same quality. Three pyranometer categories have been established by the WMO (World Meteorological Organization) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for different applications. The ISO categories named “secondary standard,” “first-class,” and “second class” closely correspond to the WMO categories named “High quality”, “Good quality”, and “Moderate quality”.
